Engineering students tackling adaptive equipment on farms

Starting the year off with dad as chief tour guide on the farm and meeting our first University of Sydney biomedical engineering honours students Grace O'Donnell and Ashwin Babu whose engineering honours projects are investigating and designing adaptive equipment on farm for persons with disability.

Great to have them visit our beef farm on the mid north coast and for dad to show them some of the adaptations that have helped him navigate farming as a paraplegic.

Looking forward to see what our students come up with and excited to support them as a supervisor with Alistair McEwan.

If you have any ideas or support needed for designing adaptive equipment on farm that might be interesting to talk to our engineering honours students about please feel free to contact us.
