Nuveen Natural Capital Scholarship

Applications are now open - Closing end of June 2025

The Ability Agriculture Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with global farmland investment leader Nuveen Natural Capital, launching an initiative that supports people with disabilities to upskill and gain practical experience in the agricultural sector.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building a more inclusive, sustainable, and equitable future in farming.

With a $10,000 sponsorship from Nuveen Natural Capital, the program will support two individuals with disabilities through one of two tailored opportunities:

  1. $5,000 Training Grant: Enabling participants to pursue formal agricultural training—including agribusiness courses, machinery or drone licensing, farm safety certification, or post-injury reskilling.

  2. $5,000 Study Tour & Work Experience Placement at New Leaf Ag Pty Ltd (a Nuveen tenant in Goondiwindi, QLD), offering a supported and accessible hands-on experience in broadacre agriculture, including exposure to sustainable farm management and ESG-aligned practices.
